String modeling has been our raison d'ĂȘtre since the beggining. After many tries, changes, rewritting, analysis, and more than 5 years of develoment, we finally reached our aim : a functional string that replicates the sound and behaviour of a real string.

While it was developped to generate eguitar sounds, as it is reactive synthesis (meaning every step has been synthesised, not just an overall output approximation), by removing/adding/tweaking some of the process steps, it can generate other string based sounds.
Changing string tuning and gauge, it can achieve realistic bass guitar sounds:
